Refund policy

At Divergent, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, returns, and cancellations are processed.

1. Order Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped. Once shipped, cancellations are not possible.
  • To request a cancellation, contact us at support@thedivergent.in as soon as possible.
  • If your order is eligible for cancellation, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method.

2. Refunds & Returns

Refunds, replacements, or returns are only applicable under the following conditions:

  • If the product arrives damaged during transit.
  • If the product packaging is compromised in a manner that could impact product safety or quality.
  • If you receive a different product than what you ordered.
  • If we are unable to fulfil your order due to unforeseen circumstances.

Non-Refundable Situations

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Opened or used products.
  • Issues related to personal preference, taste, or change of mind.
  • Delays caused by shipping carriers or incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

3. Return & Replacement Process

  • To request a return, email us at support@thedivergent.in within 48 hours of delivery with your order details and clear photos of the issue.
  • Once we receive and inspect the returned product:
    • If the return is approved, we will issue either a refund or a replacement, based on your preference and stock availability.
    • If the return is not approved, the product will be couriered back to you.

4. Refund Timelines

  • Prepaid Orders: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days back to the original payment method.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: If eligible for a refund, the amount will be transferred to your bank account within 14 business days.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our fault.
